Payment Options

Credit Cards: We accept Mastercard or Visa.

The first step is to fill out the order form, and then proceed with the following steps that correspond with your method of payment:

Option 1: Credit Card Purchases online
Place your order in our SECURE shopping cart and after entering your contact information, provide your credit card number and expiry date. For your security, you will be asked to provide the Card verification number (found on the back of your credit card)

Option 2: Cheque or Money Order
Place your order in our shopping cart and after entering your contact information, choose the "Personal Cheque" or "Money Order" option. Your order will be submitted to the Sewing Basket AND you will receive a confirmation email. Simply print that confirmation email and mail it along with a cheque or money order made out to The Sewing Basket. Please allow 5 business days for processing after we receive your payment.

Option 3: Placing Your Credit Card Order by Telephone or Fax
Please call us at 250-832-3937 to place an order by phone. If you are calling after hours, please leave your name, phone number, address, and place your order, and a description of your method of payment (giving credit card number with expiry date) on our voice message system.

Currency:
Payments are processed in Canadian dollars. If you are outside of Canada, your card will automatically convert your purchase to your currency. Click here to use an online service to estimate currency conversion.

Sales Tax:
7% GST will be added to all orders shipped within Canada, and an additional 7.5% Provincial Sales Tax will be added to all orders shipped within British Columbia.

Sales tax does not apply on U.S. and international orders, but orders from outside of Canada may be subject to the individual country's customs duties and taxes.

Shipping & Handling Information:
Shipping is subject to 7% GST
